The Hunger Games Movie Soundtrack and Posters Go Viral

Habitants of the post-apocalyptical world of Panem, land of The Hunger Games, have gained massive followings amongst our youth. Last year, with the release of the full trilogy, Suzanne Collins’s creation spawned a gigantic industry, filled with Twitter-based Katniss profiles and massive fan sites.

This year, as the movie release date got closer, more exciting news started coming out. If you havent heard of these yet, you’ve been living under a Mockingjay-covered rock.

The Hunger Games Limited Edition Character Posters

Close to Thanksgiving, NECA announced a very limited edition of the Hunger Games Character Posters, including all 8 main characters:

• Katniss – 12.99
• Peeta – 12.99
• Gale – 12.99
• Haymitch – 12.99
• Rue – 9.99
• Cato – 9.99
• Cinna – 9.99
• Effie – 9.99

Knowing very well how difficult it is to choose only a few posters, NECA also prepared a Collectors Set, with all 8 posters, that included a certificate of authenticity. These posters have been featured on every Hunger Games website and even on Lionsgate’s official fan page.

Hunger Games Soundtrack To Feature Taylor Swift and Arcade Fire

The soundtrack to “The Hunger Games”
 will feature a bumper crop of new and unreleased songs by Taylor Swift, the Arcade Fire and the Decemberists, according to this article by MTV. Also from MTV:

The album will be produced by Grammy-winning producer T Bone Burnett and released before the movie hits theaters on March 23

Pretty awesome news. Fan can expect the tracks to hit iTunes even sooner!
